Dr. Alex McMinn is an active member of his community with his wife Kathleen and his three children, Sean, Jillian and Daniel. Dr. McMinn is very active with youth sports. He enjoys coaching Soccer and Lacrosse in Loudon County, Virginia. There he teaches children about wellness, and how to work with others, while having fun.

Dr. McMinn received his Doctorate Degree of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, GA. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. He is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Virginia Board of Medicine. He has been a Certified Personal Trainer since 1985.

Dr. Karen Benton started her education at Lynchburg College in Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences in 1993. She completed her undergraduate senior internship in Physical Therapy at the Lynchburg PT Clinic. She continued her education and obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998. Dr. Karen worked as an associate doctor with the 1996 US Olympic Team Chiropractor for 2.5 years before opening her current practice. She is a Certified Conditioning Specialist (CCS) through National Strenght Professionals Association.

Dr. Karen is a native of the Metropolitan DC area. She has worked as a personal trainer at the Washington Sports Club and as an aerobics instructor throughout Chiropractic school. She has lectured on nutrition, exercise, osteoporosis, pediatric health issues, and female health and condition issues. Her Post-Graduate studies have been in ART (Active Release Technique), Whiplash/Auto Accident Injuries, and she has 100 hours of post-graduate studies in acupuncture. She is certified in Webster Technique, and has completed her full coursework for her Chiropractic Pediatric Certification.

She currently resides in Ashburn with her husband and two children.
